Care & Maintenance

  • To clean Marlique Marble, you need only a damp cloth or paper towel.
  • In case of stubborn spots, a small amount of liquid detergent is sufficient.
  • For extremely difficult stains, mild household cleaners such as Formula 409® or Lysol® may be used without damaging the countertop. All hazy residue must be completely rinsed off to avoid diminishing the shine and beauty of the surface.
  • Sealing your Marlique surface once a year will suffice; any marble sealer available will do. Follow the product’s manufacturer’s instructions when applying.

CAUTION:

  • No Surface is indestructible. As with any surface, Marlique Marble can be damaged by exposure to acid chemicals and some solvents.
  • Do not use products containing trichlorethane or methylene chloride, such as paint removers or furniture strippers.
  • Avoid chemicals containing high acidity (low pH levels) and organic acids.
  • In the event of accidental exposure to any of these damaging products, thoroughly rinse with water as soon as possible.
